We are on Our Way to Launch Day!

After trading my PS2 console, games, and from numerous other legitimate source such as selling stuff on eBay I have paid probably all but $xx. It's getting exciting....even though it's like 2 months away and the launch day is in the first week of Uni.

But now I'm going to save for a new monitor, as stated, but this time it isn't going to be the Samsung 730MW rather the 940MW. The difference being is that the screen size is larger in the 940MW than in the 730MW and since I've found a place in Sydney selling the monitor for a good price, I've decided to buy the 940MW instead...19" will look much better than 17" for sure!

Can't wait!

XBOX360: The Future is Here!

As most of those that know me for a while I like video/computer games (a very nerdy thing if you must think of it) and since Micro$oft have released their new console, the XBOX 360, in the US, Europe and Japan this year I figured I better get one on launch day when it's released in Australia.

So, using money that I've made from working 3-4 days per week, I'm going to purchase one when they come out. To help boost the payments and make the wait that little shorter I'm trading in some of my games and my now not-so-beloved PS2 into EB Games to help get the 360.

Since the 360 outputs in Hi-Definition, I figured I better get a new PC monitor. Why a PC monitor? Well, M$ has released a VGA cable allowing you to play the 360 on PC monitor. But the monitor that I'm looking into is the Samsung 730MV 17" Widescreen LCD Monitor, which has multiple AV connectors and TV input....so I guess I don't need that VGA cable then.

hehe....Can't wait till March 2!

Pepsi + Tropical Juice = Pepsi Samba

Well, Pepsi has shipped a new flavour out known as Pepsi Samba. Interestingly, the flavour of Pepsi Samba isn't all that bad, it just tastes like someone mixed tropical fruit juice with normal Pepsi.

I drank it a few times and it didn't magically detach my lower torso and make it dance like it did in the TV ad but it has a good taste.

Anything else? I don't think so!

24 season 4 is coming to an end! If you watch it the ending it's great. A teaser trailer for season 5 has been released and from the title of episode 1 it looks like season 5 is set straight after season 4.

But, not wanting to wait till june or july for season 5 to come out in Australia I will wait for the US premiere of season 5. It will premiere in Jan 15 & 16 (US) at 8pm(US EST) so it will be 16 & 17 at 1pm.

Can't wait!!!!

I was watching an episode of MythBusters (on SBS) where Adam and Jamie were testing the myth that could a singer's natural voice (and by that I mean without equipment) shatter a wineglass?!

It was found that glass has a certain tone and harmonics that matches the glass used (this tone can be generated when you wet your finger and run it around the rim of the wineglass) and using that frequency they were able to make a drinking straw jump, which showed that the glass was warping and wobbling (using high-speed cameras).

Their singing expert was able to shatter a wineglass using their voice to generate the frequency, which was then amplifed to make the wineglass shatter. Adam was also able to shatter the wineglass (twice) through amplification of his voice.

But is the myth busted?! NO YET!

The myth says it must shatter without the singer's voice being amplified. The singing expert, with the number of attempts (and wine glasses as each wineglass is different) he was able to shatter a wineglass using the correct frequency.

So is this myth busted?! NO!

This myth, as defined by the MythBusters, as CONFIRMED! That it's definitively possible to shatter a wineglass using a singer's voice...so long as it's at the right tone.

Before this attempt there have been no confirmed cases of people shattering wineglasses using their voice, and now the MythBusters have not only confirmed it but they have video to prove it as well.

You should have seen it, it was amazing! I LOVE THE MYTHBUSTERS!

Some of you might have but the one thing is is that the term 'borrowed' is a bit of a misnomer in that you cannot "borrow" words. But in any case here are some words that you might not have thought of that would have come from another language:

Ketchup - from the East China language of Amoy
Pistol, robot, and semtex (plastic explosive, similar to Composition 4 or C4) - from Czech
Drip - from Danish
Zealand (as in New Zealand) - from Dutch
Dollar, Dutch - from German (this shows that Dutch is related to German)
Kangaroo - from Guugu-Yimidhirr, an Aboriginal language
Bandanna, punch, shampoo - from Hindi
Coach - from Hungarian
Canada - from the North American Indian langauge of the Iroquois Indians
Tycoon - from Japanese
Cash, typhoon - from Mandarin

The English language is a derivative of German. English is closely related to Dutch. Another interesting thing to be noted is that the Chinese language IS NOT related to Japanese, even though the Japanese language has been influenced by Chinese. Japanese is a derivative of a proto-Japanese language and has been determined that it is related to Korean. Chinese is a derivative of Sino-Tibetan.

English, German, Dutch, and Latin are all derivatives of a language called Proto-Indo-European. English and Dutch are derivatives of German (I think that's been mentioned but oh well)!

I've watch over half the first season (to be exact 14 episodes) and it's getting exciting!

I can't wait to view not only the rest of this season but season 2, 3, and 4 when it is released onto DVD on October 12 (week 11 of uni(versity) semester 2) in Australia.

But the time season 4 is released on DVD I should have gotten myself up to speed with the story of 24, and be ready for season 5 next year.

I personally hate doing the waiting for the next episode because the show always have to climax it by using the clock....ARGH, but that's what makes it good.

Well, in the morning I will watch the rest of the season as possible.

Season 4 comes on October 12 2005.

In the mean time it looks like I'll have to catch up on the story so far by watching seasons 1, 2, and 3 (if you think I'm wasting time there's something called character development that you should take into consideration). So far I'm starting to watch the first few episodes of season 1 and it looks really good!

I look forward to the rest of season 1, all of seasons 2 and 3.

Just as a reminder, season 4 will be released on DVD on October 12. The RRP is unknown but I assume that it will be under 90 bucks.

Well, that's just great, I cannot get the Neo statue I have been looking for because the distributor has run out of stock.

But at least it lets me get the first season of 24 on DVD...yeah, don't forget the follow two season. It looks like a great TV show.

For those who have a GMail email address you should know that your account will continuously increase in size. Some of you are even probably thinking about how to use up to almost 2.5gb and growing of account space, well, there's something that you use....

It's known as the GMail Drive Shell Extension system, this little program installs files that will allow you to "post" files onto your Gmail account. It converts the account space into usable drive space to allow you to store files. That's not to say that having this will reformat your account, not it doesn't. Once the file that you have posted onto your account you can send that file over the Internet to other people as it will appear when you log into your account either using email programs or through the web browser.

After several weeks I have found and received the Morpheus 1:6 Scale statue in the mail today. But you must have also known that I was also on the hunt for the Neo statue. Though I have found a place that has it in stock, I have decided not (and I mean N-O-T!) to buy that statue. I think that it's a more of a moral victory as well as a financial victory because the statue itself is pretty popular (as well as limited) and with that the price tag is high, $150 bucks to be precise. So, with that in mind I have decided to let that statue go by and stay with the four statues that I have now, which are:

Agent Smith
Morpheus
Niobe
Trinity

I might save my money for something else actually....maybe those Macfarlane's Military 6" figures....lol

Blogs vs Xangas!

As you may have noticed after surfing the Internet for a while that these journal-type websites have been popping up like rabbits, and the main two providers seem to be Blogger and Xanga. Now, I know this can be done with a Blogger journal but not with a Xanga journal is that they can be even more personalised...Xanga's can't.

What I mean by further personalisation can be seen in my blog right now, if you know how to edit the HTML code template you can modify it even further....Can Xanga do that? NO! Xanga is so cheap that you have to pay for more personalisation. So, forget it! An online journal is never YOUR online journal until you have fully personalised it!

In conclusion, get a Blogger journal and not a Xanga journal.

I'm still on the hunt for two 1:6 scale rotocasted (Rotocasting: A process that involves pouring liquid PVC into a mold and rotating the mold on two axes. This process is also used to make those chocolate Easter bunnies that are hollow on the inside.) statues of characters from 'The Matrix Reloaded' made by Japanese company Kotobukiya/ArtFX. I am looking for the following two characters:

Morpheus
(with attachable Glock pistol and Samurai sword)

Note the detailing of the of the overcoat....very highly detailed.
Don't forget the trademark legless sunglasses.

Neo
(The Matrix Reloaded Version with billowing overcoat)

I must admit they do look really good for 1:6 scale statues and I can't even find the seams from the original mold.

If you have been following my 'New Toys' section you would have noticed that I already have three of the six (there are two versions of Neo, the Matrix 1 and the Matrix 2 version). I am not interested in getting the Matrix 1 Neo so I will only be planning for a total of 5 statues.

I currently have the following statues:

I have to say getting Agent Smith, Niobe, and Trinity was quick, swift, and easy.....not to mention cheap considering that they were on sale at for about $29 at EB Rhodes and since I know an employee there I got a further discount from about $29 down to $22 even to $19.95.

NOTE: Just as a side note, these are just statues not action figures and therefore have no points of articulation.

Well, I'm going to go to JB-HiFi, maybe tomorrow, to see if I can order a set-top DVD video recorder. I'm still keeping the original DVD video player because the recorder, though it can play DVDs, cannot play DVDs that are region 1, 3, or is in NTSC format.

I'm looking to get the LG DVD recorder (Model no.: RH7521W) because it has:

80Gb HDD to allow you to record TV shows without the need for a blank DVD (though you can back up to a DVD later)
DVD+/-R(W) Media as well as DVD+R DL Media

Just after I had reinstalled Windows XP onto my notebook, the OS began to crash again. This has to mean that it is a hardware failure and since it is rare I don't know if they can fix it because the notebook is very very rare.

One Big Bugger of a Problem I Have

I have one major, very annoying, problem. The notebook has crashed and it seems that Windows is loading and running slower than it was before crashing. I must admist that it did crash a few times but even then it didn't effect the loading performance of the notebook....but looks it the latest crash has effected the notebook performance. I'm very pissed off at this problem.

I will contact Acer to see if they can get the problem resolved.

For many centuries the Chinese have marked special occasions and festival times such as harvest and New Year with the giving and receiving of Moon Cakes these were made from Lotus Nut Paste.

During the 13th and 14th centuries China was occupied by the Mongols. When plans were made in Peking for a popular uprising to oust the invaders, much thought was given how news of the date of the uprising could be circulated without alerting the Mongols.

The story goes that the Mongols had no taste for Lotus Nut Paste and so the Chinese hid the message containing the date in the middle of their Moon Cakes replacing the yolk with secret messages. The first automated production of Fortune Cookies took place in America in 1964 before that they were made by hand. In recent years fully automated facilities have been set up in the UK to produce Fortune Cookies that are now gaining increasing popularity in Chinese restaurants and Take-Aways across the U.K. and Europe.

YAY!! The End has arrived!!!!

YESS!!!!! I have finished all my work for UNSW for this semester and I am now free as a bird! But here are a few, brief, updates of what's been happening in the last few days:

UPDATE 1
I spent $100 on a 512Mb DDR(Double Data Rate)333 SDRAM (Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory) for my notebook computer. It currently has 768Mb instead of the original 512Mb. The RAM configuration in my laptop was 2x256MB and now it's 256+512, hence 768Mb. This is enough for me to play the soon-to-be-purchased Battlefield 2 game on medium settings at 800x600 screen resolution. Now all I have to do is buy Battlefield 2. Luckily my notebook has a good card otherwise I would have no fun. But having extra RAM does certainly help, but I had to get it replaced because the first one I was given was faulty...possibly caused by the bag that I was given. But not to worry as everything works great now.

UPDATE 2
The router that makes up the main part of my network at home has failed and now I cannot access the Internet (yes, when you spell Internet it must have an uppercase 'I') or other computers for that matter. I've had to disable my wireless connection on my laptop and it is now completely cutt off from every other computer in the house. The only computer in the house that has Internet, to which I find very weird and annoying, is the fact that it is only working on my mother's computer and to which I am typing this blog right now. I hope I or we can get a new router or something so I can do two things:

1. Fix up my XBOX Live subscription.
2. Play Battlefield 2 with some buddies.

This better get fixed because I am sick and tired of being disappointed with this crap...having to hog someone else's computer....FEH! I WANT MY INTERNET CONNECTION BACK!!

UPDATE 3
While this is going on I have been playing two games, they're Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 - The Sith Lords (they are noted on the right-hand side), but mainly the Battlefield 2 demo...that demo is very enjoyable, seems to be a good buy. But, playing GTA:SA is interesting yet funny because you can do things that you wouldn't do in reality. I'm still figuring out the mechanics of the game though but still having fun with my "homies". KOTOR2 well, I don't think I have progressed much since the last time I played it and even then I keep dying, which what I don't want, and so I haven't touched that game. But at least uni is over so I don't have someone screaming down my throat about doing work and such.

UPDATE 4
Speaking of work, I have passed the 1 year driving/holding period for the red Ps/P1s and it is time for me to "study" (oh no, not that word again) the Hazard Perception Test handbook before I can take the test, hopefully on 4th of July (screw international patriotics), and get my green Ps/P2s before my b'day on the 23rd...That's just great...my birthday is a few days before uni....That sucks and blows! But if I do get my green Ps before my b'day then that would be the greatest thing for me in the world.

UPDATE 5
This seems to be seemingly out of place in terms of order of updates but as of wednesday (my first, last, and ONLY exam for UNSW) I would have 5 1/2 weeks of holidays....nasty! That's a good thing too as it means sleep, GTA:SA and KOTOR2 and all the other updates list above. I might decide to go from 768Mb to a full Gb of RAM, when I get another $100 and after I get Battlefield 2 and when I'm bothered to access the hidden slot underneath the keyboard in the notebook.

Hmmm...My uplate thought!

I was thinking about upgrading my laptop's RAM from 512mb (2 x 256mb modules) to 1024mb (2 x512mb modules). Now there are two slots available but only one is easily accessible underneath the laptop itself, but the second slot is magically hidden. After searching the net I found that the second slot is hidden under the keyboard which means I need to remove the cover and the keyboard in order to gain access to the slot.

When I buy my first 512mb module it's going directly to the hidden slot because it will save me having to go through that terrible process. I did a trial run and I got access to it. Thankfully the computer is still running as I wouldn't want it to crash.

It will be a few weeks before I get the first module and when I get the first module the RAM would have changed from 512mb to 768mb (512mb + 256mb), but ultimately I want to increase it to 1024mb (2 x 512mb) so it can give me more space to work with.

Anyways, I hope to get the first of the two modules when I get the money as they cost around 100 bucks and up but having increased RAM will help when running applications but mainly games in general.

Since the 23rd of July is coming it is then very obvious about the fact that I will be turning 21. Though this "special" occassion won't be celebrated to its full potential, I'm not one to give a damn because it is nothing really special as it just reminds you how long you have been on this earth but at the same time unsure of when your time will end.

But in terms of gifts for me....well....a DVD recorder. No, not for the computer as I already have one of those, but for the TV to record TV shows though I don't watch much TV anyways. I would be a nice addition to the massive amount of electronic equipment that I have.

Oh, btw, my desktop is still down....which sucks, but the headphones make up for it!

I had a close encounter tonight where my laptop, my adored Ferrari 3200, suffered a minor crash and I was unable to reboot windows. I was on the verge of reformatting my harddrive until I decided the to let it cool down and after I did so the computer is now back up and running!

After watching Today Tonight on Channel 7 on the 25th of March, here are the top 10 myths that were presented:

Myth 1. Eating crusts will make your hair curly

Who could ever forget having to stay seated at the dinner table until all your bread crusts were eaten with mum or dad insisting they would help "your hair go curly".

Dr Andi Horvath, curator of the Melbourne Museum, said that this old wives tale was one of many that are not true.

"They were designed to get children to eat their food, particularly when food was a little more scarce and you wasted nothing," she said.

"Its possible the myth might have started with the Shirley Temple fashions of the early 20th century," she added.

Myth 2. Carrots help you see in the dark

Dr Hovarth said carrots will not make you see better in the dark. If you have a vitamin A deficiency, they will help you restore normal eyesight.

"The myth perpetuated particularly in war time in Britain to sort of try and give the British the added edge because they'd been eating carrots and could see in the dark but it is a myth," she said.

Myth 3. An apple a day keeps the doctor away

"It'll take more than an apple however eating an apple is a good idea," Dr Hovarth said.

Myth 4. Crossing your legs causes varicose veins

There is no correlation between crossing your legs and varicose veins.

Dr Hovarth said varicose veins are genetic or hormonal and there are a number of reasons people get varicose veins.

"Crossing your legs isn't one of them," she added.

Myth 5. Cracking your knuckles causes arthritis

"It was probably designed to stop people making that annoying noise," Dr Hovarth said.

The popping sound is your joint fluids being stretched. Little gas bubbles form and they pop but there is no correlation with arthritis.

Myth 6. Wait an hour after eating before swimming

Dr Hovarth said this myth appeared early in the 20th century.

"The thinking behind it was you felt uncomfortable after eating a meal and therefore doing any activity, like swimming, will make you drown, it is a myth," she said.

Myth 7. You can hear the ocean in a sea shell

"You can hear something in a sea shell but its not the ocean even though it's a magical thing to tell children," Dr Hovarth said.

"What you can hear is sort of a white noise, that's because the sea shell is acting like an echo chamber and amplifies some of the frequencies," she said.

"You can try it with a soft drink can as well," she added.

Myth 8. Sitting too close to the TV will cause blindness

It will not give you permanent eye damage.

"Looking into the sun will give you permanent eye damage but not sitting too close to the television," Dr Hovarth said.

Myth 9. If you cross your eyes the wind will change and you will stay that way

Dr Hovarth said it was possibly designed to get children to behave and not pull a face at aunty or uncle.

"If you actually tried to cross your eyes and keep them crossed, you'd actually find those voluntary muscles would fatigue and you wouldn't be able to keep them crossed," she said.

Myth 10. Eating chocolate causes acne

Studies have shown that chocolate does not correlate with getting acne.

"Acne is more complicated with the pores excessive oil production and the bacteria that is there but definitely chocolate does not cause acne," Dr Hovarth said.

So, from now on, there's nothing that's gonna stop me from cracking my knucles! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I went to my post office box today and I picked up my copy of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on PC. Finally it came and all in one week too....how good is that?! CSI: Miami Season 3 = DAMN!!! - Update 3

After doing more research I have found the other part of the reason why Rory Cochrane's character was killed off...not a nice way to go but its happened.

Its been said that Cochrane wanted out of the 6-year contract with US TV network CBS to which CBS obliged to allow him to pursue a film career. While it's still shakey the only thing that is in common is the fact that he has left the show....He also stated that he could not handle the 6 to 8 year contract with CBS and wanted to do other things.

I think it puts this issue at rest.....for now!

After doing some research/web surfing over the Internet I have found part of the reason why Rory Cochrane's Character, Tim Speedle, was killed in the first episode of the season. It seems that he asked the writers of the show to be written out of the series, not out of the door but in a body bag. There is a replacement and I'm interested in seeing how the new guy (yes it's a male character) will fair out in the next show.

But for the most part I still don't know why Rory Cochrane wanted his character to be written out of the show. I'm sure that more information will appear soon.

CSI: Miami Season 3 = DAMN!!!

I was watching the new season (season 3) of CSI: Miami and in the very first episode they had to kill off Rory Cochrane's character of Tim Speedle. That really sucks cos it was the very first friggin' episode of the season, and the next episode is going to be more crazy - as in up the an-tee.

I am asking around on the Internet to find out why Speedle was killed off cos after 2 seasons he shouldn't have been killed off.

But alas it's only a TV show and it isn't real. I just hope that the series doesn't get cut short in the middle of the season or finish completely at the end of season 3.

Why oh why did Speedle get killed off?!!?!?? Why oh why?!

Well, the final round of university offers has come and I have not received a new offer....ah bugger! I was hoping for a new offer to appear but the current one that I have is good enough so I don't have to be really pissed.

But now I go to UNSW instead of UWS and I now currently study a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) with a few exemptions with it too.

I hope things can get fixed so everything will run smoothly.

I have ordered Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (not Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory) for PC. It's an old game but it's a goodie. It cost me $38.45 for the game + postage + money order cost. I should be able to get the game within a few days now. Can't wait!

As you can tell with the header and size of my blog, I have modified my blog even making it more personalised. Do you like my Splinter Cell 3 header? I thought you did. I only did that in a few hours.

I hope you will like any other modifications that I may do in the future.

Oh, by the way, if you were wondering those latitude and longitude coordinates are it's the coordinates of Washington DC (District of Columbia). Something to fit into the plot of the game. I can't wait for the game to come out!

Yes, you can tell that I have changed the template again and I kinda made it more personalised now. By in the way that I have personalised it I have changed the header to my blog...I might do that more often now as it looks sooo good!

Well, I have gotten rid of SoftImage XSI Mod Tool v4.2 for Lightwave 3D 8 as I'm more used to Lightwave. I bought a book for this program for me to go through and learn a bit of the program.

Anyways, onto other news! The most annoying thing that has happened is that someone on a forum has deleted my posts without giving an explanation...that's so pathetic. Not only is it pathetic but it also avoids the actual issue....Someone is hiding something. I emailled them and PM'ed them but to no avail. I feel really disappointed by this because they are not helping the situation by not talking. If you want the situation to be resolved well, then bloody well talk. It's not that hard at all.

Piss ass pathetic behaviour. I know it's a moderator because they're the only ones who can delete posts. I shall hassle them out if need be!

Learning to Animate in 3D!!!

I decided to learn to animate in 3D now so I downloaded a 3D Modelling/Animation program called SoftImage XSI Mod Tool v4.2 today and I've started on a character animation rigging tutorial suppiled by SoftImage.

For those that don't know what I mean by "rigging" it's a term where the animator or rigger creates "bones" inside the character model where they can "rig" the model into a certain position when animating. I've only started on the tutorial and just taking my time on it. It may end up as a hobby or it could land me a job somewhere....i dunno but it's very interesting indeed.

Another Day, Another Dollar!

Another week has gone by and doing nothing is really help.....NOT! Other than playing Far Cry and getting pissed with it cos I keep dying at the wrong spots there's nothing interesting that I have done...nothing impressive either.

Currently, I am downloading the multiplayer beta client for SWAT 4: Urban Justice just to see if it will run on my Laptop (forget the damn desktop, that's for work only). I'm also hoping for the Star Wars: Republic commando demo to be released to see if it's worth getting for PC. But currently I want to get the games that are on my shopping list (look left).

There are so many good games coming out that I have listed on my shopping list and so I have to wait till march to be able to purchase them. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are the priority "must-buy" games for me in 2005 (though MGS3 actually came out last year in the USA and Japan). Chaos Theory has yet to released. I'm looking forward to those games as stealth games are really fun....they require more thought than your standard "run and gun" first person shooter (or FPS....don't get it confused with the term "frames per second").

On top of all that, I'm actually starting to miss my friends that I made while I was at TAFE. Boy that was one wild ride. I wish I could continue that ride into another year but my choices just had to be bad...but I hope to stay in contact with them via MSN and the occassional meet up. It was one hell of a ride and I throughly enjoyed it, getting to go to Hornsby Westfield nearly every lunch break and such. Ah well, life must go on and so do I.

The file is still downloading so I'm gonna be up for a few more...untill it's finished downloading. Over 70% done now.

I hope that everything is going smoothly for everyone else (that talks to me cos some people just don't say anything to me....you know who you are *cough*Laura*cough* *cough*Vince*cough*!

Well, since I have finished Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault Director's Edition, I have now moved onto Call of Duty: United Offensive. And after that I may continue Far Cry or I may leave it as I have put myself into a weird situation where I have no armour just full health and loads of ammo....I don't think it's gonna last.

Well, it was wednesday and I checked UAC at 8:50pm and found that I have received an offer to study at UNSW doing a Ba of Arts (Media and Communications). Though it was my 2nd preference I'll have to hold out for the later rounds to see if I get my first preference, which was Ba of Digital Media at CoFA. I really want to get into CoFA and do the stuff I REALLY want to do!

A lot of Gaming!

Well, since it's the holidays and anxiously waiting for any uni offers to be presented (I've stayed calm but still anxious) I have been playing PC games for most of the time. Recently I have finished The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay - Developer's Cut and you can tell that it has been striked through on my Currently Playing List. I have now moved onto the World War II based game Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault Director's Edition. It's very neat game considering it's totally different to that of Allied Assault and I'm only a few more levels away from finishing it.

You may have noticed that the two games mention are all "director's edition" or something much better than the standard version (which happens to be 5 CDs - suckers). But it comes with all these really good and cool extras that you would associate to a DVD video.

But the game is really fun, getting to shoot down Japs is kicking ass! It shall be finished and crossed off the list. The special features are marvelous.

Well, I called Norman Lee up - most of the people I know would know him - and I have been told that his wife - Bec - has given birth to a daughter, Arielle Dawn Lee, @ 1pm today. Now, even though I am not blood related, in Chinese culture I am considered as an Uncle as a mark of respect - another asian thing - to their elders. Now, even though it's a good for them, it's just something that would sound cool or something.

Anyways, it's all well in good now! I'd have a cigar if I wasn't against smoking!

What's Doing Now?

Let's ask that again! "What's doing now?"

Well....Not much really. Ever since I arrived back home it's just hotter (PANTS....TOTAL PANTS!) and rush around doing things that needed to be done and after all that I've just been sitting at home watching CSI: Miami Season 2 on DVD (I like CSI: Miami so I ain't bagging it. It's like way better than any other TV show cos it's soo intelligent and sophisticated). Still waiting to see if anyone is interested in playing Halo 2 and such....still waiting on two more games to be released and those are to be had and played.

It's kind of obvious that I play too damn much but I'm interested in it so it doesn't really kill that much...well, maybe when it comes to dating but that doesn't really matter cos I think it's going to be a very, very long time till I ever see an intimate relationship, so at the moment games will be the designated "fill-the-void" thing/procedure. That, and my head looks kind of stuffed (when I wear glasses mostly).

Most of the stuff I do isn't really interesting to anyone else, but they fail to see the technical side of it! They think there's nothing to it or very interesting while in fact it's very technical and it's a bigger industry than the film industry. Games are fun and refine your reflexs and reaction times and make you more alert....they don't make people killers - that's a point that has to be made - that's a choice made by the person themselves.

Other than that it's holidays till march and such to the point at which i'm waiting for an offer to be made out to me as I really want to move onto something different. I don't know how people can live doing economics degrees - that's like spending 3 years learning how to love money - that sounds wrong as it is, I don't know how people can enjoy loving money, but learning how to entertain people is way better because you think more about the people...but that's my opinion.

This is a very long rant about absolutely nothing...nothing at all! I just wanted to fill some time to help make the holidays go faster and faster so I can get over the fact of university. Personally, university life sucks badly, it sucks badly when it's like almost a hour train ride to the uni everyday - and that's just one way - I don't think I can live with that at all. I would crack after a few weeks as I would be sooo pissed off.

Anyways, how's your week been? I hope it was more interesting than mine!

w00t! Only a few more sleeps before I go home on the 3rd, I can't wait for it! It means that I can sleep in my own bed and stuff. To which this has already been said, I will get a chance to show off my new Sony PSP hehe....Everyone that doesn't import it has to wait longer before it comes out locally while I have one in my hands and I mean literally! I DO! All I have to do is wait till the games come out locally and just buy the games....I think my friend at EB is going to be either 1. Jealous, or 2. Say "Oh Cool" and give me weird looks.

Anyways, I got more stuff that I have listed in a previous post somewhere but everything in it is soooo cool and kick ass that it makes any kid with a GBA SP burst into tears and start shouting and nagging their parents to buy the cool thing. But I don't care cos I got one and 2 good games for it.
